Walking east today at two
Before a breeze that behind me blew
Through the land where a forest grew
I reached a glade
Where there was no shade
No more underbrush to wade
Just ahead of my tread
O’er the field a spot sped
When I caught up with it, instead
Of the thing of my belief
The spot became a yellow leaf
A shard of autumn relief
Before a breeze that behind me blew
Through the land where a forest grew
I reached a glade
Where there was no shade
No more underbrush to wade
Just ahead of my tread
O’er the field a spot sped
When I caught up with it, instead
Of the thing of my belief
The spot became a yellow leaf
A shard of autumn relief

ahoy my friend, it was so nice to see you at the who-fo the other day. long distances we've traveled since the days at the hole, and worlds shifted.
I finally found your comments...thanks so much for checking in on me and keeping your sense of humor. I'm not much of a blogger still. maybe sometime I'll get that together. or create a new one that is more current with my currents. we'll be performing at Austin Java on Lamar on 9/19/08 at 9pm if you're not busy. be well, lots of love and light, melissa
