I succumbed to Knowledge News' persistence and enjoy maybe one out of every twenty issues for information not officially sanctioned by powers that be. I did a long double take on the illustration accompanying one of their articles and thought to check my state of paranoia by soliciting feedback from my fellow guinea pigs in this era of fear conditioning. The following is my way of reproducing the quandary I experienced … the fit of the words to the picture was synchronistic as I picked the tune because it is the only one I have with military drums, the beginning of Democracy, by Leonard Cohen

Sowing and reaping...
Silly tree hugger me...When I saw the wheat, the first thing that flashed through my mind was, "I'm going to see some huge combine come marauding into the screen from the right, crushing wheat and birds nests and little helpless bunnies..." Boy, was I surprised.
I saw a combine off in the distance for a dusty moment, then the tanks seemed incongruous to me.
Do I need professional help:)
