HAPPY KNEW HERE

I recognized where I have been going
Only when I got here.
This timeless center’s radiance
Is accented by framework
That waxes and wanes
With oceans of change
Once plied for the ride
Tacking from side to side
Stepping from stone to stone
To go from shore to shore.

No moment frozen,
All my days
Have been, are and will be
Variations on the theme I see,
Like my tangerine tree,
Grown from the seed of today —
Roots in the past,
Buds in the future,
Trunk Drunk
On their conversation,
On the nectar of now,
On the shadow show it dances
To music of the seasons.
