The new world order version of democracy needs two parties for the same reason the guy on the corner needs two hands to maneuver three shells over one pea, while we piss away our paychecks betting on which hand is the least evil. Democracy doesn't work when the aim of the government is to obey the majority of the money. Lobbying against corporation money seems futile until one realizes they're bribing our representatives with money collected from the addicts for their product — our money — from us. Localize our economy and international corporations have to move to the end of the line with hardly a shell to pea in.

I agree that the aim of the politicians is to obey the majority of money. I always found it strange that the 'greatest democracy of the world' only has two major political parties. How can all members of the union be represented? The government can only be as strong and honest as people let it. Though it seems to be the people who seem to suffer the most at the hands of the greedy are too busy working to provide food and shelter for their families. They don't have the luxury of time to take action let alone to sit back and have the political discussions to strategize. I guess I am going on a rant...hope at least some of this rambling makes sense.
